Trust

Trust is a big deal in leadership. I know that is not a great revelation, or at least, shouldn’t be. If you have the trust of those who are in your care, they are more likely to execute on your directives. It goes deeper than that however. Management above you must also have the trust of their employees in order to create a culture of success.

Emergency Car Repairs

This will be a short post, but simply adding to my poor person's diary that yesterday the car needed some repairs that came to almost $700. In the past, at this point in the vehicles history: 2006 Dodge Durango with 161,000 miles on it, I believe I would be headed down to the dealership and entering into an agreement for a new car.

For the Sake of Doing it

A friend of mine related a story about their father. She said that a gentleman in their neighborhood needed a new roof, and was not able to afford to hire a company to complete the work. A group of men in the neighborhood decided to help out and bought all the materials and began finishing the leaky roof.

The Perfect Day

Back in 2014, I tried to write a little e-book for amazon and called it "The Perfect Day." Reading it now, it was fairly simplistic, but a great learning experience for where I was at that time in my life. I have decided to put the copy on my sidebar under "Pages."
